I wouldn't mind seeing Walter M. punch holes through the spoon fed slacker, and I think he would.

As a fan of his potential/style and not his dufus persona, I'd like to see him stop at 135 as its one of the prestigious 8. Trouble is 135 is a little anaemic. Mitchell and Burns are busy and Marquez is not going to melt down. In a perfect world Oscar makes the Demarco fight taking a page out of the Bob Arum in house guide book. I do not see a Gamboa fight any time soon. It makes a shit load of money further down the road when those other two guys have left boxing. Who knows, it could happen at welter.
At 140 I'd like to see him kick the shit out of Rios as an entrance.
Marquez is obsessed with Manny with one foot starting to enter the door out.
Bradley will stay put at 147 I think.
He could also break in with Matthysse or Maidana.
He'd probably get ridiculed if he fought Morales or Corley.

Firstly Broner will be manoeuvred into a belt at 135. I too would love to see him fight Rios at 140. I know a lot of people are down on him becasue he's a tit but name two guys at world alphabet level with more potential than he has. Name one guy. So regardless of the fact that he's a tit I'm right behind him. I'd like to see Broner-Khan too. If Broner has a shit chin Khan would at least wobble him at some point before he got sparked.

I think all roads lead to Broner-Rios, would be a good fight IMO.

Rios for sure. Danny Garcia too. (I think Broner handles both of them pretty cleanly.) And I wouldn't mind seeing him against Kahn at all, though there's no way that's happening.
Matthyse is obviously the biggest risk there (I think, aside from Marquez, he's pretty much the consensus best guy at 140 now). Not enough of a name to qualify as a "big" fight that forces Broner to move up though, unfortunately. Really, he's probably using code language for Marquez -- that's the biggest name there by far.
Agree with Inuit that I'd really like to see him against DeMarco first at 135. They'll need to find an opponent for his December date in the meantime though, which I can't imagine will be DeMarco, given that he's fighting on the Ward/Dawson undercard in September.
(Also on the same page with Inuit and Kirkland Laing in terms of really enjoying watching Broner despite his jack-assedness; I have the same regrettable problem with Floyd. Excellence and virtuosity go a long way.)
Agreed with shza's post completely. Rios or Garcia are probably the most likely fights to happen if he does go right to 140, although MAttyhse would clearly stand a better chance to win than either of those two.
I know this is a longshot, but Joan Guzman is still around and made 140 a few weeks ago. That would be a hell of a matchup, just not sure whether HBO or any major network would want to gamble on that even if Guzman accepted peanuts for it, which he'd have to. In my mind Guzman would have a great shot to win that assuming he's still got it, that guy has been the biggest waste of talent in recent years.
