You guys must actually think that Chavez can actually box. WRONG
Martinez will get the decision or the KO. Chavez will get the KO or the KO. He doesn't have a plan B, and if he doesn't assert himself with his pressure style, and Martinez gets timeto adjust before being caught too hard, then it will just be a long night for Chavez.

Martinez a la decision. Hard to see it going any other way.

If Chavez can win this fight even on a dodgy points decision then he becomes an enormous star for the biggest market in boxing (Hispanic-Americans, Mexicans). He becomes a massive PPV earner and every time he fights in Vegas he'll earn the city a huge amount of money. None of the money people involved with this fight want Martinez to win and they all want Chavez to win. So it's not hard to see a decision going any other way.

Unfortunately that is correct. HBO wants Chavez to be a superstar too soooooooo bad. Thats why they hype the shit out of his close win over freakin Rubio and his win over Andy Lee as well. And it is why they downplayed Martinez's KO victories against Macklin and Barker and just bout had Martinez down on the cards in those fights at the time of the stoppage.

Martinez isn't a big draw so HBO and the powers that be are very eager to fuck him over and see him on his way.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

Which is another reason why we should support Martinez as he is the under dog and we all hate the corporate scum bags that try to bleed fans dry.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
