Virginia polls close at 7pn EST or midnight my time. The networks will call it based on exit polls a minute or two afterwards. If the networks call it for the Kenyan it's all over, if he wins there he's definitely won. The only thing thing that would stop it would be the GOP demanding a recount in a few states which could end up a big mess as most of the swing states have GOP governors.

Yea kirkland. When I mentioned the 2 aggregate firms most successful in the 08 election, the one other than 538( that is getting so much of the ink), that I was referring to is Dr. Sam Wang. He was the only one to do a better job than Nate in 08. His biggest criticism of the 538 model is it's potential conservatism.

I'm going to get great enjoyment over watching the people at MSNBC cry and bellyache about what an unfair election this is and how the Republicans cheat and how people just don't understand Barack Obama.

I want Chris Matthews to cry, I want him to be put on suicide watch after Romney wins in a landslide fashion.

He got the 2004 election result exactly right. He was one electoral vote out in 2008. He's currently predicting 312-226 to the Kenyan. I'm going with 303 or 294.

They're politicians and therefore dress in a rather bland manner. Romney has the style disadvantage of being Mormon but old Barry looks out of place in a suit.

In their heart of hearts, the puppies know best. Look deep into your heart before you step into the booth. It is all that I ask.

You have to have a good old rant really. It's so frustrating to know that nothing is going to change and it is unlikely to ever do so. The foreign policy issue is the one that most gets my goat because the abuses are just overwhelming and it is simply that because America does have such military might that it is able to exercise as it with with no short term ramifications. The home populace is largely indoctrinated. The media is appalling, I know it as I read it. The university education in America is largely lead by acedemics who are purposely ignorant. If they were otherwise then they wouldn't be employed. When you have a culture such as this, the subversives who will speak truth are largely weeded out and so what you have is a subtle and very clever form propaganda and indoctrination. The rest of the world sees it very differently because they have vastly different experiences and their sources are different. There are a lot of very clued in Americans, but half of the country are still red, ignorant sheep. The ones on Obamas side are little better really. All those people swaying glassy eyed in the streets with vacuous smiles. It just made me sink really.

And so no real change in the world, but at least gay people can hold hands. That is great and I am all for it, but the drones will continue to kill harmless people. Couldn't they just do that within their own borders, maybe just wipe out a few drug dealers, who are actually a danger in selling crack cocaine to prostitutes who whore their bodies to pay for it.
