Back to the election...

I've made it clear that I back Obama. He may not have completely accomplished everything he set out to do 4 years ago, but general consensus is that things are turning around. Maybe slower than expected or desired... but change (especially economic turnaround) is sometimes slow.

For some reason, I find it hard to trust Romney. He just doesn't instill that trust that a Presidential candidate should. He has contradicted himself numerous times... he hardly seems fit to play the part of "middle-class champion"... and his background in business and commerce does not necessarily qualify him to handle the delicate foreign affairs that are also important. To think otherwise, IMO, is being short-sighted.

180-Degree changes in government every 4 years is hardly conducive to growth and prosperity. It's called "momentum." It takes 6 months to a full year to stop the momentum of the previous administration and get the ball fully rolling the other way. Between that, and all the finger-pointing that everyone does.... it's a miracle anything gets done in a mere 4 years.

George Jr. got 8 years, and he didn't deserve them. He was still riding the coattails and the fear of post-9/11. It's the only way he would've gotten elected to a second term.

I'm TitoFan.... and I approve this message.
