It's a little early in the day for Arum to be drawing a line in the sand. Having said that if the roles were reversed Oscar would be doing the same thing. Donaire is the money pit for the division and probably in the top five draws in boxing. Mares on the other hand could not draw earthworms to a shit party. When and if serious talks begin say by the middle of next year Arum will probably give him a low ball offer.

Donaire VS Nishioka - 6,203
Mares VS Moreno - 6,341

Neither of them are huge draws but if this event was promoted on a big scale Mares would draw more Latino fans than Donaire could draw out Phillipino fans.
