Nope! Holyfield was the manadtory and beat Douglas a few months after the Tyson fight and then Douglas went into excile. There was no opportunity for that rematch.

Uh huh...so there WAS opportunity for Wlad to rematch Sanders? 2004 Sanders loses to Vitali & Wlad loses to Brewster. Sanders then goes on to retire for 2005, then in his "comeback" he fought 1 time in 2006 & 1 time in 2007 and then lost in 2008. Wlad rematched Brewster when he got the opportunity. Mike Tyson never avenged a loss, Wlad did.

Wlad fought a man who was practically blind in one eye and in the hospital for 9 months and inactive for 15 months in total. And he was coming off a loss.

How was one eyed Brewster who was coming straight from his hospital bed to the ring supposed to beat him again? Where was Wlady the two years that he was champion? Brewster even said that Waldo didn't look for a rematch those two years
