Also, Rees wan a world title. He has been world class. Lockett never was and whereas Rees has moved down after winning a world title, Lockett had moved up from light middle. Rees will not be the weeker man. He mit be smaller but Broner will be surprised at Rees strength!
Hah, what a thread. Rees will be the stronger man, Ross are you high? This fight will be over whenever Broner wants it to be the way I see it, and I think he's a turd as well.

I didnt say Rees will be stronger, just that he wont be weaker. Not like an ex light middle Lockett moving up to fight a very strong Natural middle Pavlik.
Broner has had it drummed in to his head with fans, media and odds makers telling him this is a complete walkover and he will destroy Rees very quickly. If he has taken any of that in he will be in for a surprise that Rees will be able to push him back.

I don't give Rees any chance at all, but he comes to fight so this should be interesting while it lasts. Gavin will put everything he's got into this and could potentially give Broner a few uncomfortable moments, but that's about it.
Rees probably gets stopped on his feet in the middle to late rounds.
Said it earlier broner will take him out in 4 or 6

Broner maybe Jeff Lacy II, time will tell. Sadly though, I doubt Rees is Calzaghe II, but instead, more like Reid II...
Hope I am wrong, but I am taking Broner in a mid to late round stoppage, with Rees bravely going out on his shield.

Broner is no Lacy and will not be a Jeff Lacy. Broner has that born with talent that was not developed by anyone but himself. Yes he's a twat but he's also a kind of hybrid. A subtle mixture of Benton, Floyd and Burley. Lacy was a one dimensional hooker and the only reason he had the success he did is because his opponents broke a cardinal rule which is never hook with a hooker.
In a perfect world he fights Gamboa but due to strained relationships I cant see that happening. Marquez would be interesting but the timing of his rise may coincide with Juans retirement.
FTR there is a part of me actually cheering for Gavin because of the odds and the way he has been written off as some domestic unworthy of the task.

Possibly; but who is to say that hindsight may show it was a mixture of Benton's power, Floyd Snr's drug habit and Burley's political connections?
That is written with years of hindsight. Many of us were seriously high on Lacy, who was a hybrid too, of Barkley (limited but brave), Tua (left hook) and Davey Moore (one fight ruined him)...Lacy was a one dimensional hooker and the only reason he had the success he did is because his opponents broke a cardinal rule which is never hook with a hooker.

Broner is following floyd footsteps but still has not had as much tough competition yet but he is making the right waves.
Hes a young guy with skills that are improving..whats not to like?
Theres no need in getting wound up over his stupid, arrogant attitude as its just hype.
Broner out boxes rees and mid 2014 he will be a strong contender in the 140 divison.
Ross made a decent point locket was a too small at least reese is at the right weight. Broner is a hype machine but you dont get as good as him by taking things lightly, his team have watched reese even though they r pretending they havent. Its bad news for the rock.
