Chavez Jr.'s DVD just came out and I'd recommend all of you guys to have a look at it. It involves some really inspiring scenes and it'll motivate up and coming boxers especially in Mexico.

I agree he's been under some pressure recently, but he's one of the most naturally talented boxers I've ever seen.

THE most over hyped boxer ever!!! If he knew how to jab and use it in persuit of Sergio he could have won or atleast looked like a fighter. He has no form and no techniques at all!
I'm amazed Freddy put up with his crap but after putting in some time I'm sure Freddy needed to get paid!! Junior is a joke and it must tear his old man up!! Although Senior is abit of a odd ball too!

I used to shit on Jr just like many others but he's grown on me overtime and I have alot of respect for him.

This kid was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and never had a job in his life. Anything he wanted he got like a typical rich kid.

He could have continued living off his daddy, instead, he decided to take punches for a living and become a pro fighter! How many kids in his position has the balls and desire to think of something like that?

Fuck these Chavez haters.. I think alot of people are forgetting the fact that Chavez Jr has exceeded expectations in this sport..

When he was coming up as a prospect, I remember everybody were saying that he's a knocking waiting to happen as soon as he steps up the comp etc etc but look what he's accomplished.. He's a former world champion with an exciting style and a granite chin.. Never been knocked out by anybody ..

    Chavez jr is rad man..

The way GGG is treated vs the way JCC Jr is treated just disgusts me, I can't agree with you on Ortiz but the Chavez hate is ridiculous, I do understand some of it but people pile on Chavez because in boxing people are followers who are scared to break popular thoughts.

Again your GGG hate is shocking. Chavez Jr, goes 46 fights before fighting someone of real note and gets completely out classed, comes to fights overweight, fails drug tests, refuses to take drug tests. This is why he gets criticised so much. He is a decent fighter and can be fun to watch but he's not world class. Does anyone seriously believe if it wasn't for his dad he would be in the position he is in?

GGG has been a model professional and looks like he will be world class.

What a sign of just how fk'd up the entire program is. They fine a guy 900 grand for traces of weed that could have been there from a week before. Traces from a week before of a drug that has no performance enhancing properties at all but they will essentially ignore the known Peds that do enhance performance by using the same testing methods knowing they will rarely catch anyone. Btw whens the last time anyone got a 900 thousand dollar fine for actually using steroids? If you are going to try and show the world that you are doing something about performance enhancing drugs in boxing by using a household name, you don't make a federal case out of Chavez testing positive for Thc ffs. Doing so has the reverse effect because it tells anyone over the age of 12 how stupid they are.

If I were fighting Chavez Jr. I would personally sign a contract allowing him to test positive for weed. I would also tell Julio that I will personally pick up the tab for his purchases and have them delivered to his camp. Not a PED, and this is totally BS. And I'm not a Chavez Jr fan, but this was excessive.
