Love Toney and wish him well in the match, but can't see him making a dent in the top 10 at heavyweight. Doubt he'd beat Chisora at this point due to being soooooo inactive and rusty and pretty much shot. Never heard of this guy Toney is fighting so I figure he'll beat him like he did Rydell Booker.

And no... I'm definitely not JFAT or anything resembling it. If anything, I'm fascinated with the obsession over a former middleweight, who ate everything in sight on his way to becoming a clownish heavyweight. IMO, he's a disgrace to boxing as a sport. If he truly likes MMA, he should just jump the fence (well... maybe walk around it ) and stay there. And yes, he slurs... not that he has anything useful to say.

When I said you were a skinny, proper, white Englishman... I forgot to mention that you are in the academic field. And from your posting history, it's obvious that you like all things intellectual. So even more puzzling then, is your fascination with a boxer who can barely utter his own name. Boxers used to be categorized as dumb, back in the day. But nowadays you have some very well educated and articulate boxers, who can speak in perfectly enunciated sentences.

It's kinda like Fay Wray's fascination with King Kong.

That was Toney at his peak, now he is a sad story. BTW I thought Mike McCallum beat him.
