Peterson vs Matthysse is not a title fight. So what the fuck are you crying about? Who gives a fuck if Peterson's paper IBF title (that should of been stripped) and Matthysse WBC Interim title (why he even has an interim title I have no fucking idea) is not on the line. You got a fighter (Lamont Peterson) who needed help from a ref to get his title. Fails a drug test. His title which should of been stripped isn't. Every one (including his mother and brother) agree it should of been stripped. Except for the IBF nobody even considers him a champion. Man I expected better from you. Cuz you got things all twisted up. Peterson's IBF title is not on the line cuz of Matthysse. Not Peterson. Matthysse is the WBC interim champion. Which means he's next in line to face the regular WBC champion Danny Garcia. If Matthysse loses to Peterson at 140 he also loses the Garcia fight. Cuz he would obviously drop in the rankings. The only way Matthysse is protected from a loss is if the loss was while fighting in another division. Having the fight at 141 makes it a welterweight fight. And a non-title fight. Peterson's can't defend his junior welterweight title in a welterweight fight. If Mattysee loses his ranking at 140 isn't affected. And the Garcia fight is there. Matthysse is the reason it's a non-title fight at 141. Peterson is goining along with it cause it's paying him well
