Why hate on Wlad? He does the right thing all the way around the sport. He fights often, he wins usually by KO/TKO, he shows up IN SHAPE, he fights using his brains as well as his brawn. No, I do not like Wlad's style of winning. But I'm perfectly aware that it's more the opponents fault than Wlad's. It's the rest of the division I hate. I'm also a bit peeved that Wlad gets a free pass at this stage of his career because the rest of the division is either SHIT..... or is 10-15 years away from developing a true contender that would give Wlad a run for his money.

No.... Wlad retiring won't improve the quality of the division. That's ridiculous. BUT in a way, it would even the playing field because think about it...... the alphabet orgs have to crown SOMEONE champion, right? There would be a mad rush of mediocrity fighting for the newly vacated crowns, and in the process we might even see fights where the opponents aren't scared shitless of each other. We might see knockdowns galore. We might see offense for the first time in eons.
