So you discount his Cruiserweight accomplishments? If Floyd Mayweather Jr. stepped up to Middleweight, would you expect him to take a shorter end of the purse?
Haye has also sold out large arenas, has drawn large crowds, has fought on PPV, has won multiple World titles in 2 weightclasses and has had huge mainstream media exposure. Fury has done none of these things, despite his best efforts. How can you possibly justify Fury getting anything over 30%? Haye is gifting him 50%, if he doesn't take it, it's because he is well aware he'll get flattened.
I just wish the British fighters would do more of their fighting in the actual boxing ring and not over contracts.....all they do is talk it's like WWE![]()
Won a world title?
Dominated the cruiserweight division, a division that has fighters that can drop Fury.
I say it a lot but you know nothing about boxing, almost everything you say just confirms this.
Haye is a bigger draw than fury
Haye is a better fighter than fury
Haye achieved more than fury
Haye will sell more tickets than fury
Haye sells out 5 to 6 times bigger arenas than fury
Haye is a 2 weight world champion, fury is not
Haye chases the big fights, fury runs from them
It goes on.
You say tomato,
‘n I say …… it correctly.

So Ross, do you think a 50/50 split isn't reasonable then? What are you hoping to contribute to this thread? Everyone is fully aware of how clueless you are already.
I havent even shared an opinion on the proposed split. I don't really care and if you take what Fury says on twitter seriously then more fool you.
I only comented in here when the question of "what has Fury done" was brought up and the answer is, in the last 2 years, alot more than Haye.
Haye has had 1 fight against Furys left overs. Fury has fought 6 times and is far more current and relevant.
A fury v Klitschko fight would be far more interesting and relevant than another boring Haye v Klitschko fight.
Relevant because Fury has actualy been fighting and beating people and earnt a ranking and the interest wouldnt stop with the lead up with Fury, he would actually try to win and earn his money rather than conning all you gullible fuckers that get taken in by Haye.
For fuck sakes, he didnt even prove he was the best at cruiser. Carl Thompson can always say he would beat Haye.
Lets be honest, Thompson would probably have done the same to Mormeck and Macaranelli![]()

I dont for one second think he is being serious with all his other shit, youd be fucking stupid to believe anything he says, especially something as far fetched as that.
I do believe a 50/50 split is fair but I also reckon that as an ego or bragging rights thing, Fury may be pushing for slightly more in his favour, like maybe 51 in his favour.
After all, he is like Mayorga and will sell this fight single handedly. After his Cunningham performance, even though he looked vulnerable, so far this year hes been in the most exciting and talked about heavyweight fight in the world.

Fair enough, I've actually never even been on Twitter![]()
The thing is, neither guy has done anything in the last couple of years. Fury has been active but not against anyone really good and he's looked completely shit, because he is.
Fury will NOT sell the fight single handedly, that's nonsense. PEople take notice of him because he is an inbred freak and has absolutely no shame or context of anything before he runs his mouth. THey are both great self promoters, but Haye actually has a method to it and is a much more decent person when he isn't hyping up a fight. I'd imagine Haye is quite popular in the UK, even with many women and non boxing fans? He is a charasmatic and attractive guy, Fury as I said is the equivalent of a circus freak.
Fury would make more money fighting Haye than he would fighting four or five journeymen. He'd make far more money fighting Haye than he would fighting a Klitschko. He really is a great big girl. He deserves nothing but contempt. I've never seen a whole Tyson Fury fight and I never will now. The only way he can redeem himself is to take this fight.
The fight wont happen because Fury knows hell lose. The ONLY reason Haye is offering 50/50 split is because he knows hell win easy, and when he does, it will put him in a good sport to get a world title shot.
In all fairness Fury has nothing to negotiate with. He could probably get 5-10 million for fighting Haye. He will get less then 10% of that for fighting Osquendo
