Kostya could of fought above his weight at any time he wanted to physically with ease but thats smart business staying where he performed best his weight drops to 140 was an art in itself.
If they had met it would be close on the cards if Kostya failed to stop him, Shane could out point him in the fast draw and move out sideways early on but I think Shane would of tasted some of that power a few times mid way in, cause speed verses timing can go against the speed demon like a head on accident.
Kostya loved breaking down all the stages eventually catching people on the move then closing in and bullying them into submission. Shane probably would of seen most shots comming in and with no surprises got to shake them off and move out more. Hard call cause the only proven way to beat Kostya turned out to be beat him down and over power him nose to nose at his own game.
Yep, I see this fight as speed verses timing, and Kostya had fantastic timing that beat faster opponents like when Tszyu made Zab do the Judah Shuffle. Ali had the Ali Shuffle, Zab had the Judah Shuffle....
