Cool story Manny.

Name one fighter that has suffered a knock out like he did and then came back against a fighter this dangerous?
Brandon Rios isn't anywhere close to the best fighter... I don't care how "dangerous" you think he is.
That is not the point. Manny could have fought a scrub and would have gotten a pass due to his last fight. I'm no fan of his per say but I cant think of a fighter at the very top who has lost in the way he did and then taken on a fighter like this and not a tune up. Anybody who thinks Rios is a tuneup is a blithering idiot. The only guy I can think of in this era is Lewis. Some guys have a less the stellar showing and take a walk in their next fight.
Yes, that is the point. Read my first post in this thread.
The fight will not be competitive. Rios' come forward style and leaky defense are tailor made for Pacquiao. They chose him because he's pretty much guaranteed to make Pacquiao look sensational again. Don't call it a tune up if you don't want to, but this guy clearly doesn't belong in the same ring with Pacquiao. This fight has one sided beat down written all over it.
You have lost the plot. What should have he referred to Rios as? I suppose he could have called him a fighter not on his level.
And he's also fought nothing but greats. Blaming him alone still after all of this time for the phantom fight not coming off is almost as short sighted as the interpretation by you of his comments regarding Rios.
Who's taking the risk here after being put to sleep for 2 minutes? How many fighters have come back after being knocked out cold like that and have taken on such an opponent? Give me some historical perspective with this fight?
