Default David Haye vs. Vitali Klitschko.

Let's say Haye knocks out Fury, and then fights Vitali in 2014. How do you see this fight going? Can Vitali still beat him, or has he slowed down enough that Haye wins?
Bonus question: How would Vitali react to a Haye overhand right?

I think it would be Vitali's toughest fight in years.

I dont see it being a tough fight at all. Would go very similarly to the Wlad fight. Hell the decision Haye got against Valuev was close. If the fight goes anything like that Haye aint getting a decision.

When you throw in the age factor, ANY fight that Vitali has in 2014 will be his toughest fight in years.

I keep hearing about this beast of a fighter that David Haye is and that guy hasn't shown up at heavyweight. I do not at all doubt or diminish his credentials at cruiserweight, and I know that he held a belt, but the most noteable thing that he's done since being in the division is this:

How long since those T-shirts came out? Whats he done? I bought his entire schtick. Once. I think he will knock Fury out and I expect him to call Vitali out again immediately after. He will do this because Vitali has an obligation to fight another and may retire before or soon after. If he was really concerned with any kind of legacy at hev he would challenge the winner of Wlad/Povetkin. Trouble is even if he does, I cant take the guy serious anymore.

I agree with this 100%.. really this all depends with how much vitali has left... his style relies a lot on his height and reactions, he prefers to dodge punches rather than block them so if his reactions have slowed enough the haye has a chance of doing some damage to him(although I still haven't seen vitali hit hard since the sanders fight..)... I tihnk both at their best vitali walks through haye the same way he did v herbie hide but now it just depends how well he has aged and it is hard to say seeing as he doesnt like to fight much anymore... hard to say with vitali it seems he was injured v chisora(and the punch stats/lack of left hand jabs and hooks stat back that up) and charr seemed to cause him some problems but still charr was dropped fairly... so who knows..

not sure what vitali is up to just now... i hope he will fight stiverne soon

I hope Vitali fights him and shuts his mouth for good. I can't stand this part time fighter. After false advertising himself for the Wlad bout, he got the audacity to chase Vitali whose probably the more dangerous of the two bros..

Haye doesn't have what it takes to beat a real fighter like Vitali.

First off, wont happen and secondly Vitali would have an easier time with Haye than Wlad did, just like he did with Sanders and Peter.

Vitali has looked poor in his last few fights coupled with his age and inactivity David has a good chance of winning. I think Vitali can take Hayes right hand as his chin is solid.

Win lose or draw vs Fury, Haye-Vitali isn't going to happen. Vitali will retire after he fights Stiverne, if he even ends up doing that.

Its not even worth thinking about really. Haye's value is nothing when it comes to fighting a Klitschko given his last performance vs one. Haye had PLENTY of shots to fight Vitali and he took a pass......gee I wonder why

I think it would be an easy points decision for Vitali, although I doubt its a fight that will ever happen

Someone should stick up for 'ol David Haye, so I guess it's going to be me.

Haye remains the only one to have KO'd Chisora... something neither Vitali nor Fury could do.

Haye handed Audley an early KO before it was the in thing to do.

Haye did not get KO'd by Wlad nor did he even get badly damaged as is usually the case when someone fights Wlad.

Vitali hasn't been looking so hot lately. Haye takes him in his advanced age.

you are right it will never happen so theres little point in thinking about it

you are wrong tho a fight with haye would be more lucrative than any other for vitali so it holds a lot of value

and to answer the thread question, if vitali thought he still had what it takes to beat haye he would have fought him already
