The Forrest one was very sad. I remember see the HBO boxing deaths special about the deaths of Forrest, Gatti and Arguello. Tragic end. Sanders too, wasn't he protecting his daughter or something?
Yeah Forrest should have not pursued those guys. You can always get another watch. Corrie got it in a restaurant I think while dining with family. I was really gutted when Arguello killed himself. Its always the guy that you think would never do it that does. I hate to be a cynic but I still suspect Gatti's wife.
Vernon Forrest HAD to pursue those guys. He was a fighter. They probably put their hands on him. I have a friend that had 12 pro fights as a LHW in the 60s and he got robbed at gun point. He chased the guy down and beat the hell out of him. He said it wasn't the money, but that the guy smacked him. He said that once the guy put hands on him, he had no other thought but returning the favor.

Common sense vs instant death for me given the circumstances. Its what separates us from the apes so they say. Its just not a hill that I'd be prepared to die on. I did however punch the snot out of an Atv redneck about three years ago for kicking my old dog in the gut for no reason. He was wearing an old school motorbike helmet but there were no guns present.
