Not at all. It is you who is bitter and unwilling to debate. You have classed every one who does not subscribe to your own myopic view as a hater. Many started off on Saturday night surprisingly finding themselves behind Wlad hoping that he would deliver the goods and expose Povetkin and ended up the evening with no option but to shake their heads in disappointment. Wlad disgraced himself and left any real boxing fan with little option. You are in the minority because you backed yourself into a corner not because everyone else is bitter. You are entitled to your opinion but please do not be so quick to label anyone who disagrees as a hater. You are better than that.
I called them haters and RIGHTFULLY SO!
When Ricky Hatton mauls someone and the ref does nothing it's "Well done Ricky, atta way!"
When Ricky gets called to task about his style it's "Booo ref boooooo!"
When Lennox Lewis did EVERYTHING that Wlad did it's "Lennox Lewis is a great champion never say his name in the same breath as Wladimir Klitschko"
You are a hater, you and every other fan who has been complaining about Wladimir or the ref.
I am pragmatic in my views and steadfast in them. If the ref calls foul then it's a foul, if not then it's not a foul. I am realistic about "fairness" in life. There were things Povetkin could do to try and "level the field" IF he thought he was being wronged (but by his statements he said he hadn't been wronged).
Keep whining about it I have read 0 from you or anyone else on Anthony Joshua's holding and hitting....you DO know that's illegal right?
I'm being consistent which is why I win the argument, you're playing favorites and that is why your argument is flawed and that is why you lose.
Calling a foul is up to the discretion of a referee. If he's not calling it then it's not happening.
I think one of the reasons the holding Wlad was doing wasn't called is that it isn't a kind of foul that further endangers the life of a fighter. It's not like a rabbit punch, a low blow, headbutt, or following through with an elbow.
I don't fault Joshua for holding and hitting at all...when you want to do damage to someone you'll ATTEMPT anything, he corrected himself after the warning.
Yes but it drains your opponent. Wlad hand picks the refs that don't call that type of fouls. I like Wlad, but I think if he made half an effort to entertain fans he could go down as one of the greatest. After 7 rounds Povetkin was gone yet he still refused to throw more then 2 punches at a time and insisted on holding.
I am a big fan of both brothers and I freely admit that Saturday's game was utter crap. I was so surprised Wlad couldn't keep him off with his jab. I have no clue what the hell occurred that night.
