Povy was just no match overall for Wlad and there's no way he could have won that one if you ask me. Thus said, that was a ugly match and no matter how much I like Wlad, he could have clinched a bit less.

I scored it the same as the judges 119-104. I didn't give Povetkin a single round as he was dominated from start to finish. I hate Wlad's style, it is bullshit he isn't warned for his holding/leaning more as it is excessive, but too many on here are not giving the man his due for dominating against yet another top opponent.
Is Wlad style ugly as sin? Yes
Does he bend the rules at times? Yes
Is he the best/most skilled Heavyweight out there? Yes
A decade of destruction doesn't lie. I used to argue with @El Kabong about Wlad but the Haye fight proved Lyle's point in my eyes.
the fight would have been completely different if the fouling had have been stopped
the fight finished and we still dont know who is the best boxer or who would have won in a boxing match
the man doesnt deserve his due or any respect for that performance
a decade of holding is a lie to all involvd in boxing and driven purely by money
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend

I thought Wlad won 4-0. Four takedowns against none for Povetkin. Can't really credit Povetkin for any reversals, as he was never able to apply a hold on Wlad.... and his escapes were mostly referee-aided.
4-0 Wlad.
