I'm not fond of Wlad as a champion either, ross. But in all honesty, who has he ducked?
It's not like he's got a conga line of worthy opponents waiting outside the door.

My frustration for years has been that the press builds up these lumps of crap.... they step into the ring, and promptly proceed to stink it up for all the world to see (and cringe).... and it's on to the next lump of crap. Over and over and over and over and over again. It's a nauseating process.
My whole annoyance is that him an his brother wont fight each other which means neither is dominant.

Personally I'm not gonna blame them for not fighting each other. But to me it makes no difference. There hasn't been anybody worthy to challenge and bring the best out of Wlad. The division is as crap as it's ever been in history. Challengers come in scared, or clueless as to how to attack Wlad. In those rare instances when someone does try to rise to the challenge, such as Povetkin, we're treated to clinch-filled, foul-filled, safety-first borefest which does nothing to improve Wlad's image among the fans.
Chambers was doing well but still just too small and didnt move his head much. He let his hands go and landed and at times made Wlad look silly. Chambers made Wlad look prime for the picking for soeone like Ali or Tyson who would give so much movement and more than one punch at a time. Holyfield would get in there and work but hes not hard to hit and watching the Lewis and Foreman fights he just wouldnt be powerfull enough to keep Wlad away.
