Still sparring and training. Dnt know how short notice the fight would have been but Toney may be carrying some kind of injury from prizefighter, or prizefighter let him know where his fitness is at and he just wants adequet prep time for such a decent fighter.

Fighting someone who challenged for the world title in his last fit is different to fighting the level in prizefighter

So you think with time to prepare Toney has something left ?

Id like to see. Its much like the old Mike Tyson. There are some fighters who absolutely need activity to raise their game. They need regular fights. When Mike Tyson fought in 2000 he had 3 fights and had a fight scheduled with izonreti a few months after Golota and that fell through and then a fight with Mercer fell through then he went in with Lewis back at square one with no momentum again.

Looking probably too much in to it but MAYBE the Char fight was on the table before the prizefighter, or offered around the same time as his manager "pops" did say in an interview that there was another fight on the table if the prizefighter fell through and maybe the reason they took the prizefighter was to get some rounds in. They are holding out for money by the looks. The figt is n the table for the 20th of this month. 5 weeks after the prizefighter and he was fairly fit for that. As iv already said, even Bernard Hopkins would lose to some eagre novices/journeymen over 3. Prizefighter really means nothing. In the real world Toney of now beats Harrison

Tyson was 36-37 when he fought Lewis he was unbeaten in 6 fights , Toney is 45 and hasn't beaten a top HW in years , he is done.

    Who is Manuel Charr?

Is he bigger than Lucas Browne? Is he a bigger puncher than Lucas Browne?
    No to both.

Toney was 35lb heavier than he was in prizefighter when he lost a questionable 12 rounder on pounts to Browne, in Australia. Browne has gone on to knock out Travis Walker and David Hayes main sparring partner Richard Towers

If Toney can survive 12 rounds (he should have been awarded the decision against Browne and Gavern) with one of the biggest, and most powerful punchers around today im sure he will be ok against Manuel Charr

Well I just don't want to see Toney get hurt , he is already slurring his words , I think many here would agree it can't be good for his health.
I am staggered that you turned this thread into something to do with Haye , surprised you didn't mention Fury also.
I am not arguing the case for how good or bad Charr is , I am just concerned for the health of James Toney.
