That's right.. shit is on and poppin!
Toney was one of my all time fav fighters.
This ain't Toney.
I hope he gets knocked out. He is a walking punchline leaving a grease trail now.
If there is any justice, Charr should beat the living shit out of that fat bag of goo!

Charr should be ashamed of himself.
Awful brave of Charr, fighting a fat, washed up 45 year old coming off a loss.
I guess after the short thrashing Vitali gave him, he's not too eager to fight world class opposition anymore.
A fight between 2 heavyweights who can barely be considered contenders. Well Toney's never really been a contender for years.

This is a sad matchup , I have no idea why charr would take this fight.
Charr shows his level of opposition and ambition.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
He should be embarrassed having to share the ring with this version of Toney.
It seems Toney has rejected the fight anyway and potentially any further prospect of a significant fight. It was very short term notice anyway. However, Toney is very old and every week is a lifetime at his age and it's anyone's guess where he is at. Maybe he hit BurgerKing after Prizefighter thinking he had earned a meal and was then shocked that an actual offer came in. Who knows?
Still sparring and training. Dnt know how short notice the fight would have been but Toney may be carrying some kind of injury from prizefighter, or prizefighter let him know where his fitness is at and he just wants adequet prep time for such a decent fighter.
Fighting someone who challenged for the world title in his last fit is different to fighting the level in prizefighter

Id like to see. Its much like the old Mike Tyson. There are some fighters who absolutely need activity to raise their game. They need regular fights. When Mike Tyson fought in 2000 he had 3 fights and had a fight scheduled with izonreti a few months after Golota and that fell through and then a fight with Mercer fell through then he went in with Lewis back at square one with no momentum again.
Looking probably too much in to it but MAYBE the Char fight was on the table before the prizefighter, or offered around the same time as his manager "pops" did say in an interview that there was another fight on the table if the prizefighter fell through and maybe the reason they took the prizefighter was to get some rounds in. They are holding out for money by the looks. The figt is n the table for the 20th of this month. 5 weeks after the prizefighter and he was fairly fit for that. As iv already said, even Bernard Hopkins would lose to some eagre novices/journeymen over 3. Prizefighter really means nothing. In the real world Toney of now beats Harrison![]()
