3. I don't think talking about immigration and the decay of the UK is an entirely selfish concern. Selfish would be to ignore it and hope the added weight sinks the place. However, I don't want that and want good things for ordinary people. That means cleaning up the system. The electorate has no valid alternative and all Cameron needs to do is provide the referendum that he promised.

Whether most people agree or disagree is neither here nor there because your proposal is a false one and is as unrepresentative as the notion the the Entire population of two countries will be moving to London. 1. 5 million in 10 years is realistic. I have never really bought into the title of this thread as you well know, so stop with that carry on. I have never suggested that 29 million new immigrants would all run away from their country either.

2. That doesn't make me a fraud. Should I just say open up all borders of the world, and let's just settle on the lowest common wage that will emerge? No. If we want to help Polish people then we provide aid to them, we don't give small businesses here open access to cheap labour. This has nothing to do with helping people, it is an economic strategy. It is cynical, planned, and is formenting huge unrest.

If you want to say that it is about helping people, then surely those in the UK come first? Are they not British? Would they really not work if it was not simply about low paying, non-secure jobs with arsehole bosses? The economic argument also says that the Polish are searching for 3 times the average wage, which means it's a completely selfish motive on their part too and at the expense of British people. Let Poland make a workable country, it isn't the responsibility of Britain.
