But none of those fights that didnt happen were as big of a deal. None of them left a whole era of boxing with a huge question mark.

There wasnt two decisive ATG fighters above the rest that just didnt fight.

A legacy isnt just about who you fought and what your record is but how you did things. Its not just about who can beat who but the fights they put on.

If Pac and Floyd would have fought 3 times and Floyd lost all 3, he goes down greater than what he would have imo because of the memory he left on boxing and the guts he showed.
