    Default GGG V Adama

Adama is making a right nuisance of himself here. He hasn't got a lot to keep Golovkin off him but he's hanging in and somehow managed to damage Golovkins nose.

Now that I've said that of course he'll get flattened.

Cracking round that. Adama definitely hurt Golovkin there with the hook to the body and right hand, Golovkin was backing off. Just like that though GGG decides its time to put the foot down and Adama looks vulnerable.

Going off this fight Golovkin is well over rated.

He looks a bit clueless when someone has a go and pushes him back. Id say even Chavez Jr could beat him. He hasnt got a good workrate either. Chavez is big and strong and has a decent chin. He can also punch.

I don't think I quite put the skids under Adama's effort, it was pretty inevitable. Gutsy effort from the fella. Golovkin is a nasty fucker.

Definitely overrated and ive been thinking like this for awhile. I bet he can't fight going backwards. He's moves straight forward and straight back without angles.. He's pretty much a one dimensional fighter.

    Chavez would fuck him up..

Funny the way some people view boxing. I saw a fighter in cruise control that, everytime he went through the gears, made a tough fighter that's never been stopped look a doddle.

The guy has great footwork. He didn't mix in enough body work in that fight for my taste, but it seems he really didn't need to. I think Fenster nailed it - it seemed like he fought that fight mostly in second gear and any time he cranked it up, he hurt Adama.

Golovkin could have got that done without breaking sweat but looked like he was happy to plough into him and bash him up, which he did. Adama was tough and fancied a go occasionally so had a moment or twos success. I don't think too much can be read from it.

GGG would beat Junior, he is the best at the weight.

While you are both sat in the same boat it might be worth plugging the massive whole in it before you end up having to swim ashore.

Gennady Golovkin Wears Down Adama, TKO in Seven - Boxing News

Sounds like a pretty typical GGG performance to me, although he could have closed the show earlier and perhaps gotten hit less.

He belongs at middleweight not super middle and he will continue to win.

Can't agree with either if you. Yes Golovkin looked poor in parts, mainly in the 4th or 5th after being completely dominant. Stevens hit him with his best and he didn't budge. He does the subtle things so well that Ross doesn't understand. His footwork is one of the best I have ever seen. He cuts the ring of so well. Guys can't keep him off them. His jab is excellent and is a tool he has in reserve if he ever needs it. His work rate? What are u talking about. He doesn't waste punches. He uses them so effectively. Martinez is the only guy at Middleweight who could give GGG a challenging fight
