Some people are bitter because the heavyweight champion isn't from their country or has a lighter complexion than the boxers they like. When Wlad retires and if Wilder or Jennings become champion, the same people who say this era is bad will be gushing about how great the heavyweight division is.
I've disproved your theory about people not liking the Klits because they're foreign and white countless times.

Provodnikov, Golovkin, and Kovalev are all foreign and white, and people love them. They love them because they're exciting. The Klits aren't exciting, and they fight in a weak division.
