I have been a slaughterman and a food safety officer at a meat works for years. What happens is the animals are blessed by the muslim right after they get stunned, right before they have their throat cut, they don't bless every piece of meat.

There's absolutely no difference in the meat from an Australian abattoir because the rest of it is produced as usual.

Halal meat from a middle east country or a plant predominantly middle east factory is definitely shitter quality because they are shit workers, put the anumals through pain and suffereing before death which stresses the flesh and reduces all the eating and keeping qualities and they are some of the filthiest swine ever, not even washing their hands sometimes after taking a dump then returning to work.

My advice is stay away from halal and you'll do fine. The reason those countries use a lot of spice in their cooking is cause the quality of meat is so bad!

No offence, but I'm not remotely surprised that's what you do

Being knowledgeable as I'm sure you are do you think Kobe meat is worth the fuss. I tried it and it was quite tasty but I think American Angus is just as good.

the salient question about KFC isn't how the animal was killed ...... It's what fucking animal is it? I've never tasted real chicken that tastes anything like KFC.

I reckon that's why pandas are nearly extinct, the Colonel has been putting them in his greasy boxes of artery hardening death

If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?

I have never really thought about it and I suppose that makes me quite terrible. I love meat and savor the taste and yet don't think about the animal that is giving me life giving qualities. I should. I am intelligent in some ways, but in other ways I am profoundly ignorant and stupid and this is an area where I am confessedly so. How can you ignore the murder of animals and their forced bondage and slavery? I don't think I am alone in doing so. I would never consider becoming vegetarian as I do enjoy meat and I believe that whilst some humans are capable in the herbivore sphere, I am not. I have little in common with horses, rabbits, or deer, and though I have eaten none of these creatures, I would. I don't have a problem with eating animals and have an odd respect for the culture of eating dogs too. That is the one we are all supposed to wince at, but I think that is hypocritical.

I've never thought about different processes of killing animals, but if they are to be killed, I want their lives to be given more dignity and for them to die as painlessly as possible. I don't think it affects the taste of the meat how they are killed. How an animal is raised will affect the meat, but the difference of rope, knife or bullet, is irrelevant. Just as there is organic farming, I would like to see more meat with animals that were given some time to be free. Intensive farming for instance, isn't very nice. Making money like that is like a teacher who enjoys crammed classrooms and as little student freedom as possible. Why don't you just become a prison guard? However, I have been ignorant on this issue and it is likely going to pester my thoughts.

ive thought about it and looked into it since the subject has come up and ive changed my view

initially when i saw the videos i thought it was a bit brutal and unecessary

its not really tho and despite appearences a lot of tests suggest the animal feels less pain than when electricuted

its seems the muslims treat the animals much better in the build up and around the slaughter than they are treated in "western" slaughter houses

isnt it hypocritical of me to refuse to eat a cow killed via halal than to eat 10 killed by electricution?

    think about history too

animals have been killed using halal methods for how many hundreds of years? and it might not be the least painful method of slaughter in this day and age, but even if thats true, even if the electricution is less painful then thats only been the case for the last 50 years perhaps

so the halal slaughterers have been champion slaughterers for a thousand years and now they could be coming second people are calling them cunts
