Ottke wasnt a slip. Watch it.

Froch saying Reid is the hardest puncher hes ever faced and this was after the first Groves fight.

MH Grill: Carl Froch :: Men's Health
He said the hardest puncher he faced was Arthur Abrahams and the hardest he had been hit was Reid big difference. Froch was probably not taking Reid not seriously as he was old but with AA he did not allow himself to get hit.

Its there n black and white. The hardest hes ever been hit is by Reid.

Hes saying on paper Abraham was a big puncher but the reality was that Reid hit him harder than anyone else including Groves apparently.

    Breath it in, ahhh...

Read it and understand. Reid hit him the hardest but that does not mean he is the hardest puncher he has faced there is a difference.

Ok, Reid was the most effective and hardest puncher actually being able to catch Froch where Abraham couldnt. If YOU re read he actually says he has no idea how how hard Abraham hits because Abraham couldnt touch him. He said Abraham was the biggest puncher on papaer not in reality. Dont forget Abraham was a puncher against middleweights whereas a past it 37 year old Reid actually hit Froch harder than anyone else and this includes Kessler and Groves.

"The hardest hitter is probably the guy who didn’t hit me, Arthur Abraham. His record said he was the hardest hitter but I can’t say whether he was or not. When I fought him he never landed any punches, I made him miss. Robin Reid hit me with the hardest punch I’ve ever been hit with."

Its there, for some reason you are choosing to interperet it as so ething else. Reid was a good puncher.

Reid was definitely a good puncher

    he beat ottke

he was miles past his best by the time he fought lacey

so he is a very respected fighter and very definitely world class, if you name britains top super middle weights reid would be up there but I don't think he would be the cream, and I personally think that groves could outbox him, I wouldn't put my house on it tho

Yeah, he was known for being strong and having a good chin and that first knockdown seemed to ruin his punch resistance for good. Never knocked down previously amateur or pro, in sparring or competition. 130 odd amteur bouts against the best in the world. Lacy cheated. The ref was calling stop 3 times, Reid turns to the ref and as hes facing the ref Lacy turns to Reid and lets rip with a huge right hook that smashes in to Reids chin. Reid looks back at Lacy then delayed, goes down on a knee then the ref deducts a pount from Reid for usng the head but says fuck all to Lacy for punching when he had called both to stop.

Mayweather got shit for hitting Ortiz but the ref hadnt called stop.

Reid also gave Magee his first loss in Magees backyard dropping him 4 times.

I say that Groves is being massively over rated now because of Froch looking shit in the first fight. Groves chin will haunt him against any punchers and Reid was a puncher.
