as a scientist, I would like to clarify for you "scientific facts"
there are 2 types
1. consequences of very basic and fundamental theories. As long as there are no contradictions found with regards to the foundations of the theory, you may take its consequences as facts. Otherwise you got paradoxes
2. experimental evidence. When you read some yellow page journal "Recently, British scientists proved that women with small boobs have higher IQ, etc" it only means that they did a FINITE number of experiments or tests, and, here is the key, using some model of assessing the data (see point 1), came to a particular conclusions based on statistics.
