Exactly why this "cleaning out middleweight" idea should be junked. MW is a morgue, GGG should move up to fight better fighters.

Ugh and he says he wants 160. Time wasted.
Cotto is the only big name left at middleweight with a decent resume and I don't see him making it twelve rounds either. Maybe before the wars and I stress maybe, but not now. Quillin is there as well, but he hasn't even been in the ring with someone the level of Geale, let alone GGG. Just the fact that Quillin is ranked so high with his level of opposition says more about the mw division than any words can.
If Cotto was GGGs size it would be interesting. I'd pick GGG anyway. But Cotto started at 140, he's too small. Quillen is being hidden for a reason. The good fights are at 168. The most money is probably a Cotto fight, Canelo fight or Chavez Jr. I can understand him taking those fights, it's business. But short of getting a payday fight it's time to fight his quality of fighter. He's proven he wrecks guys that are beneath him, it's time to see who all is beneath him. Is Froch beneath him? Ward?

I think he stops Froch. A GGG/Ward fight is probably the fight I most want to see.

He's 32 and he's thinking about available paydays for what's left of his career. Cotto would be a huge PPV event. So would Alvarez. Both of those fights are infinitely easier and bigger paydays than Ward or Froch. Although definitely Ward and Froch are mouthwatering fights for us to see.

I'd like to see Floyd fight Golovkin more than anything else. Rather than Floyd fighting endless second rate Haymon clients I'd love to see those two fight each other.

I'm a big Floyd fan(the fighter not the person) and I don't think at his age he could hang with GGG. He doesn't have the legs anymore. Add in the size difference and GGG walks right over him. But that's as it should be when you consider each fighters natural size. Don't get me wrong I'd love to see it but I don't think it's a great fight.
