Cotto probably would have preferred to make a voluntary defence after beating Sergio but I have the feeling he could not agree an opponent and so has taken the rest of the year off rather than committing to a match which is a waste.

Believe it or not I'm seeing rumours that Marquez/Cotto is being discussed at a catch in January.
