I dunno man, did you see the Nelson v Vanes fight That was a solid give and take scrap. Arce took a one way beating and was hardly in it at all. Now Barthelemy, that was a horrid bore snore

OK Points taken but the Arce fight had some human drama that I would have liked to witness.

Yeh you're right it there. It has the feel of a huge event, Arce had the hometown crowd from beginning to end. Great atmosphere

And Jhonny carried him because they are close friends and did not want to ice him in front of his family and friends. Some soulful stuff there. I saw the video. It was moving. God bless both of them.

John Ruiz vs Hasim Rahman made me want to cry because it was so boring. No combinations at all, unsightly grappling, and Rahman refusing to let his hands go. I can't think of s fight that was ever less exciting. Ishe smith is s good call though, cause he is unsightly as well. I can at least appreciate Lara's skill n footwork...

Saturday/s version of Hopkins was hardly compelling.

Actually I'd do the opposite. I wouldn't want any terrorist to see a weakling in our nation.

Let em know : (F) with this nation and look how we bring it to the table.

Finally, after months..I thought of the one.

Freitas vs Zahir Rahim. An article post fight called Rahim a135lb version of John Ruiz.

Freitas cried to the ref....maybe...every round.

Both fighters were sent to the canvas about five times... ..ALL were akin to American styled football knockdowns. Later.. after one flagrant foul too many Zahir took a knee to which he later said was a gesture to the ref of not wanting to be disqualified.

As I remember watching...it was just an awful fight. No boxing fan should ever never ever be forced to watch some shit like that..maybe a terrorist: but not boxing fans.
All's lost! Everything's going to shit!

Freitas was a good fighter when he let his hands go....very good power. He was in a few stinkers though....the fight vs Barrios sucked until Freitas sacked up and knocked him out

That was an excellent fight! Are you remembering the same fight I am?

Wladimir-Sultan..... and I would leave a revolver next to him with one bullet.

If he was still alive when I came back, I'd slap on some Chris Byrd and Corey Spinks career highlights.
