Quite the anomaly he was for those times. First African descended world champion in history at a time when it was unheard of. His incomplete record at boxrec does him no justice at all. He most likely fought between 400 and 600 times. Pity how he ended up. Him and Langford are probably the best fighters my country ever produced.

At whats with Boston? Both him and Sammy ended up there along with many other Canucks. Maybe its proximity to Nova Scotia?

You will find there is one poster here who is trying to continually make out that all whites are scum and that we here are part of the system that has forced poorer black males and other peoples hands into crime in some areas.

We are not racial but we have one person here who is trying to make us all out as such.


We are the sort of (white) people here who fight for blacks rights we love our boxing champs black or white we dont care and it isnt us who brings up these one sided beliefs in every opportunity,it is unfortunately one black poster.

Many of us work in with black people to help amongst our own communites for all who need help. In volunteer situations mostly. ( I know of at least three here). So his tirades get a little tiring. So we retort in a more civil manner.

We get this tirade of abuse from this person every week where ever he can bring up the failings of whites in any way,he dumps it on us. If you care to look back in the history of some of the posts you will see it is habitual. (some of you wont be able to see the worse of it, until you've hit a 100 posts ) because Ive moved them there out of public view.


This is tame here in this one, but gets the truth into peoples minds; alas not his as the penny just cant drop there.

Wouldnt even realize there were thousands of Irish white slaves out in the fields too.

Its a shame you get people of action in the world and you get people who blame others for their own in action in the world.

We like the ones who do good actions regardless of color.
