Not confident but 5/1 is too big. I dont bet because I think something will win, I bet because the odds are too good allowing me to make money in the long run.
    Ok

You placed a "significant" bet on something you have no confidence in happening.....

You would also have no confidence in David Cameron becoming a world champion boxer this year. Would you part with the same money?

Another way to explain this is you think Fury will beat Stiverne. So you have no confidence in Stiverne? SO will you not back him at any price? 5/1? 10/1? 20/1? 50/1? Everything has its price and if it is wrong it is worth backing, even if you dont think it will win.

50/1 maybe a tenner but certainly nothing significant.

Significants a subjective word. A 10er may not be significant to you but sigbificant to someone else

Well being that you work in the industry you understand what a "significant" amount is so don't give me that old hogs wash that you have no confidence in Tyson winning the world title this year because you laid down a significant amount. Not just ten or twenty quid.

In fact it wouldn't surprise me if you popped a grand on it. I feel the Fury Force is strong within you

It sounds to me that Tyson Fury may just be some kind of guilty pleasure for you. That you secretly admire him and believe in him but dare not express your true feelings for him as a fighter in here for fear of alienating yourself from the majority.

    Be true to yourself!

Ive said before he is turning out to be better then I expected. I have nothing against him. He can be a bit of a prick sometimes but what boxer cant? I still dont think hes near Wlads level. Stiverne and Fury are close in my books so thats a fight Id love to see. You will get evens or slight odds against on Fury if the fight happens which will probably be mouth watering to you

I reckon even when Tyson fights and beats Wlad you will still get "when will he fight someone his own size"

I wonder who would be more appealing for the Stiverne/Wilder winner as an opponent. Fury or Wlad? Would it be Fury, seen as vulnerable and an easy win (according to Haye fans) or jumping straight in to a unification with Wlad?

I think a Wilder v Fury fight would sell massive. Wilder can sell himself and I have a feeling he could give as good as he gets unlike Haye who struggled to keep up and sulked and went quiet when Fury gave him some abuse and out talked him.

The only reason Fury is still where he is, is because Haye suffered injuries. Everybody knows Haye would have not only knocked Fury out, but done it relatively easily!

Fury is a little better now and Haye has been inactive but still these is no real way Fury could beat Haye, he is WAY way too good.

Fury just doesn't have good chin or a really big punch. His dimensions will help him though. He is a pretty good combination puncher too.
