    In America we had Cossell on ABC, then after him football legend Dan Dierdoff commentated on ABC world of boxing and I think on our CBS network we had a dude named Brent Mussburger..in between 1/2 time of an NBA game - he interviewed Hearns & Haglar...ahh the days when boxing was a part of the daily networks sport shows.

    Commercials nowadays goes to the NBA, NFL & MLB athletes, but back in the day?

    Ray Leonard was the golden man- did all the commercials, -this was the best IMO
