True too. I find it oh so convenient that every fighter seems to have an "off night" when they step up in competition and lose. They'll smash 30 bums and journeymen, but when they fight a legit world class fighter and they aren't able to do the same things to him that they were able to do to the bums, they say "ohh I felt weird, I couldn't get off, I was sick, I was injured, blah blah".

Maybe you just fought someone who was a lot better than your normal competition.
