Man, I hope not! The boxing landscape can look bleak in the US, at times.
All the really good, important fights happen here though, right? Lol
Evidently that is still the attitude of many fans. Bit weird.
A big fight is a big fight. But the fact is that most of them are in America. I don't think Fury's upcoming fight against some German is a big fight, it's a typical Warren fight where Fury is the overwhelming favourite. The last big fight in England was probably Froch-Groves. There are tons of appearance-type fights and uncompetitive fights in America too, but the vast majority of the relatively competitive fights involving beltholders are in America.

If there were plenty of entertaining or competitive fights in England or Europe featuring our beltholders I would pay more attention to fights over here.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, boxing is being killed off as a sport by American football, Basketball and European soccer. Top athletes can earn mega bucks from these sports without having the precarious lifestyle relying on scumbag boxing promoters like Warren etc..
I reckon its a fair bet that the Bolton Wanderers left back (no offence) has earned more in his sporting lifetime than Fury or Wilder, AND its guaranteed money every week!
