Now I think it's VITAL to our conversation for you to know that IN NO WAY am I suggesting we take Chowderhead's (or Andy, whichever he doesn't prefer I use) tactics and turn them on all Muslims....by NO MEANS am I suggesting that.

What I AM saying is that Christians are both revered and reviled but it is socially EXPECTED of them that they react like adults regardless of what vitriol heartless people might spew at them....Muslims on the other hand are starting to be treated in the same manner as African-Americans in that it's the soft bigotry of low expectations again. The people who wish to "outlaw Islamaphobia" are saying that the Muslims A) are constantly attacked and B ) they cannot #1. Handle such attacks and 2. we cannot hold them accountable for their actions after such an attack......I think that's A) selling short ADULT Muslims and B ) creating a system where Chowderhead can reach and poison more minds.


So, Muslims LIKE Christians need to learn to take it on the chin and have what? FAITH that the words of humans will not hurt them or their religious beliefs. If your faith is strong, then you do not make mountains out of molehills. I certainly do not wish for Muslims to become a victim class, I certainly wish African-Americans had not so willingly become a victim class because now they are at the mercy of 1 party as that party has classified them as victims and anyone not willing to be a victim is ostracized and unprotected....it hasn't worked well for anyone but the politicians.

"You lot" are the Brits. You guys have this overwhelming liberal guilt....it's ok, plenty of Americans have it too. You guys feel bad for God knows what, be it the fucking crusades or when you had the Empire...but for whatever reason the guilt merchants have sank their hooks into you and you're willing sacrifices because of this perceived guilt, you're going to give up the ship to people that will imprison you in a society that is no longer yours.

I worry for England, I do. I worry for the United States as well, but it is because I care that I worry. I don't call for the hating of any people, I call for equality....you already have such equality, to back down from it would be catastrophic! Give a man like Choudry an inch and he'll think he's a ruler!
