Indeed they are, and yes practitioners of both religious SHOULD be bigger than any man made insult of their God of choice.

    HOWEVER

Only 1 group is expected to not react with violence....so I ask again: Is that because the Christians are intellectually superior or is there another reason?
Both are expected to react with no violence.

My guess it is to stop extreme right wing racist political parties from inciting religious hatred against Islam.

....and that's a "large" problem in England?

I mean those people seem to have an ok time demonstrating and protesting...they are all alive, no one has beaten them, in fact people seem to go out of their way to show how open to Free Speech they are by allowing Chowderhead to speak AT ALL without shutting him down.

    But pray continue

"You lot" are the Brits. You guys have this overwhelming liberal guilt....it's ok, plenty of Americans have it too. You guys feel bad for God knows what, be it the fucking crusades or when you had the Empire...but for whatever reason the guilt merchants have sank their hooks into you and you're willing sacrifices because of this perceived guilt, you're going to give up the ship to people that will imprison you in a society that is no longer yours.

Who have you aggrieved so badly that your people would accept this? Anjem Choudry has had a BLESSED life in England, I dare say he's gotten away with things in England he wouldn't have in the nation he now calls for!

I worry for England, I do. I worry for the United States as well, but it is because I care that I worry. I don't call for the hating of any people, I call for equality....you already have such equality, to back down from it would be catastrophic! Give a man like Choudry an inch and he'll think he's a ruler! Let him sew his seeds of hate as he is and eventually these jackasses that are NOT interested in freedom and liberty WILL turn the tables on you as they have told you time and time again.

Hate preachers are targeted as are far right racists but they act within the law and get away with it.

Is there a law against "Christianaphobia" if you will?

They stopped the laws on blasphemy a few years ago.

....but by special request they'll bring them back for the Muslims

To stop racists spreading hate by stereotypes that Muslim men are peadophiles, terrorists and scroungers.

What is to stop Muslims from spreading the same rumors about Christians, Jews, Atheists?

Because it would be wrong and untrue.

    It's this simple...

....When Patrick Swayze in an action movie featuring such awesome lines as "Pain don't hurt" answers IN DETAIL how you should respond to such accusations/threats/assaults on character then you lose.

I am an adult, I treat other adults as I wish to be treated. Sometimes adults have arguments, disagreements....never once has one of mine landed me in court! Just how fucking bad is it to get called names in England? How horrible is that? It's bad enough that laws must be made? It's bad enough that specific laws alienating other religions/cultures/vast groups of people be made....is that it?

If the Christians can be libeled then so must the Muslims, so must the Jews, so must the Atheists....fair is fair, there is no degree of fairness there is the same and there is different, this proposed "Islamaphobia' law is DIFFERENT and all passing it will do is further separate the religions and cultures that reasonable and rational people wish would live together peacefully.

So they don't need laws to protect themselves? And that is EXACTLY my point. They act like adults, why can the Muslims not do the same? Do the same and you will be treated the same, act like children and be treated like children and that goes for everyone.....surely you see it is only common sense, fuckin' family of man dude, we're all SUPPOSED to be brothers.
