Miles, there was nothing good about ww 2 other than it ended with the destruction of the Nazis. The Japanese commuted genocide against the Chinese, it was called the hidden holocaust. You seem to think I feel America is always right, that is not the case but we are talking about history hear. I think it's a horrible thing we used nukes. I do wish the emperor had surrendered. Do you dislike the US so much you don't appreciate the sacrifices the US made for its allies. We didn't do what Russia did and claim territory we fought to get the Nazis out of. A sign of emotional maturity is to have the ability to be even-handed about your criticisms and praise. No country or government is all bad.... no country or government is all good. Simple as that. You acquire more credibility as a thinking person when you can criticize on one hand, while praising and giving credit on the other. Otherwise, it's perceived (correctly) as just hate.

True in most cases but whenever a member of the Bush family is rockin the White House America is white, uptight, and outta sight, kind of like a tampon.
