..... in response to Brock's comment about Broner being a "silly monkey". Obviously a rebuke for Brock's use of the word "monkey" in reference to a black man, without bothering to consider what has already been pointed out. To err is human, and Greenbeanz is as human as the rest of us.

I will say that 'silly monkey' is a term used in the UK quite innocuously too. Without hearing the tone you can't possibly know the intent. I used it at work a few weeks ago. Unfortunately it was to a black colleague. Luckily being in the room with me they knew the tone and intent and racism wasn't even considered (except in my head when I winced a bit when I said it). I say it to white people fairly often.
