Fights you viewed differently after re-watching

Been awhile since I watched DLH vs Quartey- when it occurred most felt DLH got a GR8 gift, I kinda did as well. I think I scored it like 7-5 for Ike and was leaning 8-4.


Watched it yesterday.

This time I didn't have it 2-1 going to the 3rd with Harold Lederman. I had it 3-0 for DLH who was the aggressor, threw more, while Ike did have some single shots that impacted DLH, I couldn't see giving Ike those rounds simply because his D was tight as hell and landed single shots.

Mid rounds Ike did come on, but I think with the 12th round DLH won the fight. -and if there ever was a case for a 10-8 round due to overwhelming dominance without a knockdown, this final round is a great example.

Not sure what was different with me- but watching it again.....DLH won the fight without controversy.

Everytime I see Lewis/Mercer and Holyfield/Mercer, I give Mercer an extra round every time I see both fights. lolol....

LOL, I concur. I think I was biased for both guys, yet Mercer keeps changing my dvd. Can't be me changing my mind!!

I think if I watch both fights one more time I would have Mercer winning a shut-out UD. lolol...
