So anybody asking politically related questions of a guest on their show is a journalist? That would have been news to Johnny Carson, Dick Cavett and so on.

You're aware the Daily Show has described itself as a fake news programme since before Stewart was even running it, right? John Stewart has for years described himself as the most trusted name in fake news?

Show me a transcript of a quote where he claims to be a journalist.

Johnny Carson never tipped his hand, he'd make fun of anyone and everyone, but he never put his personal politics out there and lead with that.

Dick Cavett is an unabashed lefty, I don't mind the guy but he wasn't NEWS.


Jon Stewart says "fake news" but and I'm sorry to have to correct you Kirkland as I know you have such a delicate constitution about being corrected but millennials get their news from these "fake news" shows

You're not correcting me. People getting their news from comedy shows doesn't mean that the comedians doing the shows are journalists, it's more a commentary on the terrible job actual news programmes do.
