Will one of you fine fellas let me know when the bute fight comes on. At a buds house that only watch fights from dudes that are still around when he watched a lot
That kind of reminded me of a pearl of wisdom that Teddy Atlas used to say at least twice a fight in the Fight Night boxing computer games. "If you don't practice head movement in a gym, you aren't going to start moving your head once you're in the ring". I may have paraphrased, but Imam's team clearly didn't think they'd have any defensive issues, so didn't even train for it.
Alvarez and Chilemba up now. Anything straight gives Alvarez problems. Still on delay over there?
It will be obvious early on if Bute has anything left
who thinks a completely neon red ring is a good ideafookin blind here 2-2 this one
Chilemba coming more and more into the fight. Alvarez not showing good body language in the corner, and I think he needs to really step up his game if he wants to hang on to that 0 on his record.
The announcer team seemed to only see Chilemba doing work. I really get annoyed when they try to influence how viewers see the fight.
Not a great fight, but I thought the card was a little odd, with that one wide decision for Alvarez which I couldn't see. Nonetheless, Chilemba is a bit of an acquired taste and like Sakio Bika, I can see why some judges wouldn't give him too much.
Anyway, it does suggest that if DeGale intends to take it to the cards, he will need to be dominant to get the nod.
Think I've heard DeGale mentioned to have 'Benn like confidence' by showtime crew three times now...sloooow down fellas. There is one Benn. He's not here
that said Bute has that full diaper walk. fact
This is a pretty good action fight so far probably Degale 2-1 through 3. Close one.
