Interesting. It's all about opinions, but I believe Canelo would Hammer Eubank. Yes, I'm biased because I'm not a fan of Eubank, but I believe Eubank is still very , very Raw.
He definitely has promise, is in great condition and has good stamina, but I don't think he is anywhere near the finished article.
People said if he started quicker against Saunders, it would've been a different story. I don't believe he was capable of sussing Saunders out. Even when he got going later in the fight, he was still missing with a lot of crude energy sapping wild shots.
As for Canelo, as far as I'm concerned, he is already a MW boiling down to somewhere near to LMW in order to avoid GGG .![]()

No Warren wont, that's never been his way. When he gets a belt he keeps it as long as possible before his man is forced to fight a dangerous opponent or he makes a mistake by getting them beat (Clev-Kovalev a recent example)
If Billy Joe fought Canelo, Golden Boy would be the promoter not FW.

This division is just a little strange. None of the challengers want to fight the champion. Some of these challengers actually call themselves champions. When does boxing right itself? Andy Lee was the only champion willing to fight the Real one however now that he lost his "championship", the new champion is not ready for the real one. Its as if its a different sport. The old "boxing is a business" analogy does not cut shit anymore.

That's why belts shouldn't mean anything to proper fans (they're important to fighters for business reasons). Everyone knows Golovkin is the best middleweight in the world. Canelo, Billy Joe and Jacobs are just challengers like every other middleweight regardless of the silverware they have.
