I hope Saunders takes the fight, and gets the money he wants. If he doesn't take the fight, especially for the money he wants, he loses anyway to public opinion. IMO.![]()

Sanders is a tidy boxer but he doesn't even believe himself he could beat GGG, which is a terrible sign really. I'm probably going to pick against Saunders ever time he fights anyone good, not sure why I just can't get behind him. He seems to unwind and become mediocre towards the end of a fight.
I don't see Saunders as a considerably better boxer than Martin Murray or even Gabe Rosado, and I doubt he'd take as much punishment as those guys. Doesn't have big power either, he would hold no advantage in the fight imo, just like everyone else GGG has fought so far.
Not a better boxer than Gabe Rosado? Come on.
AS far as BJS-GGG - Why would he turn down two million quid? Even if he loses he can come back.
You have to take into account that Billy Joe is only 26.
He can have a few fights over the year to make that money in fights that he would start favourite. It's all very well saying it doesn't matter if he gets bashed up. But it does matter in reality. There's no guarantee a beaten fighter will get back to the top after being knocked off.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Big Dog, you're rationalizing Saunders' decision to duck GGG. Fine. But, let's call it what it is: a blatant duck. He was offered $3MM U.S. to face the perceived best in the division in a unification fight, enough money to make most fights in the entire sport worth it. If he avoids GGG, he shows his true colors. All this nonsense that he is a traveling man and fighting is in his genes is pure bullocks.
