    They're just getting started, hopefully.

Man Beterbiev is scary good so early in his career.
That's true, but my point is that Beterbiev is 31yrs old and had 9 fights , Lomachenko is 28 and had 6 pro fights.
At the rate that people fight nowadays, both of them will struggle to get past 15 pro fights.
I fully appreciate that they both had stellar amateur careers and should both live up to their promise in the pro ranks, although they won't have many fights.

Does not really qualify based on the question but Jeffries got the title in his 14th fight. He then defended it about 5 times and retired undefeated with 20 fights. Of course he came back after 6 years and got spanked by Johnson

Think there is something to that. We all talk about green guys winning trinkets too early and levels getting deep next but straight from amateur to every single fight being billed as a super showcase? That has to catch up eventually. Haven't heard a thing about Beterbiev rehab after surgery but looks to have a return date in June. Injury may have been a blessing as with win he was mandatory for Kovalev, think that would be too deep last year.

Eh thats pretty hard thing to think about who was that guy that beat Benitez but got his ass handed to him by Duran he was pretty good for a guy with not many fights. Evendar after his 12th fight beat one of best lhw and cw champs and had few defences that would be pretty good.
