With that hatred of wealthy people it sounds like Jeremy Corbyn is your man. @Gandalf

Generally speaking, people who are willing to work for minimum wage into their later years aren't remotely capable of governing, for a plethora of reasons. I don't know quite what the argument otherwise would be?
No not at all but remember if you goven you must keep in touch with the people.
Most MPs have forgotten they are there to represent the people not themselves.
Eletisum is not good for the country remember we are looking after the extremely wealthy and not working class people.
Workers make wealth but are poorly rewarded we are devolving in wages as you no your self Steve.
I have nothing against wealthy people per se, but I think a lot of wealthy people have made their wealth through inheritance, abuse of their workers, wrongly allocated government contracts, privatisation etc. Jamie Dimon was for instance in charge of a bankrupt bank. The bank got bailed out and he is now a billionaire. That is what I don't like. Some call it envy, but I wouldn't want a billion dollars. I wouldn't spend it, I would continue to enjoy staying at home reading books. There is no point in having a lot of money. A decent person just wants enough and to be able to have a little comfort if they ever make it to an old age. These billionaires who just want to accumulate and buy governments to get what they want are not human IMO. It's a mentality that I do not understand. They don't deserve it and I think a little land redistribution is in order when it comes to somewhere like London or George Clooney and his 10 homes all around the world. You shouldn't be allowed to buy a home in a country that you do not live in.
You need a COMMON MAN, someone who knows hard times!
I just do not understand Gandalf's point of you. I am not saying there is income in equity and I am not saying that some people have inherited millions and even billions of dollars and therefore had the advantage but that is simply just part of life and evolution. You cannot just redistribute land. How would that be possible people who own the land and buildings and companies on that land How Could You forcibly remove that land and those buildings from them and move other less fortunate people into those buildings. This is really a pie in the sky idealistic and completely unfeasible way of trying to rearrange the equity of the world. I just do not understand what the problem is some of you people have two words wealthy people. I just cannot understand that. If lightning strikes a building is that unfair? Should we then strike fire into all the other buildings because that person who's building got struck by lightning received an unfair lot in life? Things happen like that that's what I meant to last week when I said things happen. That's the life things happen it is all random things. You cannot try to rearrange the random chaos that happens in this universe. I just cannot understand the hatred towards billionaires are trillionaires. And I certainly could not understand why Gandalf would say that you should not have the right to buy a house in a country that you do not live in. That is unbelievably oppressive towards people's right. If I have money right now a couple of million dollars and I want to buy a house in South Korea I see no reason why I should not be able to do that.
If you can inherit then you can redistribute. Trump inherited Daddy's money. Bought up real estate on the cheap because the city of New York was bankrupt, did them up because he was able to get cheap loans from banks impressed by Daddy's money, and then they were sold for fortunes to rich people and overseas investors. Ordinary people lost out on what should have been social housing because of the improper power of money. Money as God is not an ideal way to run a society and the collapse of capitalism into police state authoritarianism in order to protect the elite is how it has evolved. Welcome to the world of Zuckerberg, Soros, Buffett, and Gates. The homeless now even have spikes put under their bridges.
Ordinary people lost out on Trump's father's money?
Partly, and then they lost out even more when that money was used to buy up assets on the cheap, and then even more when rich and foreign money bought the overinflated properties. You see it in the UK today. They have sold off a lot of council housing to developers who then sell the properties to rich people from overseas. It is against the interests of the common man who just wants a place to live and who now finds himself having to spend 70% of his income just to rent a box in London. Again I would argue the case for land redistribution. It gets to a stage where the problem is too big to fix in any natural kind of way.
Steve you know things were better 10 years back in the big apple.
The Common Man has been screwed unaffordable rent's poorly paid jobs,! and no sign of things getting better would you say.
America is devolving mate just like the UK the rich are screwing every body I can't see things getting changing for some time to come.
Of course I realize that things were better for the average person 10 years ago. They were also better for the average person 20 years ago. And then they were better than that 30 years ago. And they were even better 40 years ago and 50 years ago was the golden time in American history and sixty years ago we were basically in heaven having just helped Russia in defeating at of Hitler and having a golden era in the late 1940s and all through the 1950s and Rocky Marciano was the heavyweight champion of the world
