FIFA have decided to change the rules for the 2018 World Cup. Reigning Champions Germany will go straight into a Final and can choose their opponents. They have decided to defend their title against the New Zealand All Blacks Rugby team.
FIFA representative Mr. Smashuppio from the republic of Cuckoo land said "This is great news for Football as it will generate billions of pounds and is being played under Football rules."
Other "experts" and "Fans"have said "New Zealand are a major force in their sport and have iconic status, this will generate unheralded interest from around the Globe, and MAYBE, just maybe, the All Blake will knock them out!"
That all sounds reasonable enough, doesn't it?

I have already stated that this is a "Joke Fight" and one that Floyd could win "One Armed" so that's what my thoughts on this "Event" say about me which is the same view as most purists like yourself.

What i have also said is that this "Miss Match" is Massive in terms of being an Event/Spectacle and will eclipse any Boxing PPV in History and also generate more money than any other Boxing event in History.

When i say it is good for Boxing i mean it because it is, UFC slaughters Boxings viewing figures and has done for years now and this will massively raise the profile of some of Boxings current World Champions such as Gervonta Davis and serve him up to an audience way way bigger than anything he could be purely in Boxing circles.

Like i have already said..... This is purely about $$$$$$$ and Business and Floyd has made everything in favour of Boxing and Not UFC.

You need to see this for what it is and realise Boxing is a business first and a sport second, always has been and always will be

If you don't like it then do a "Geoffrey" @Gandalf and don't watch it.

I've got no interest in the fight, I'll order it if it has a good undercard and a few fights I don't want to miss but if it is nobodies I've never heard of I won't be buying it just to watch the main event.

ive read in places people slagging "boxing purists" for slagging this fight

ive seen mcgreggor spar, fair enough just one video, but from that I don't think he would make it to championship level

might get a bit of luck and fight for and maybe win a irish or commonwealth title

only way mcgreggor can make it an interesting fight if he just goes for it big time, a few rounds of windmills till he gets caught

at least that would be funny

I would love it if McGregor does go wild on Floyd, just love it.

It will be fun watching Floyd justifying this fight, saying the world demanded it and it is what fight fans wanted.
