Did this fight have the standing 8 option? If it did I agree. But if not the ref had no choice but stop it.

you could claim he was held up by the ropes, i think kovalev fucked himself there he was hurting from body shots and was trying to get the ref in to claim low blows(he might have a case) but kovalev stayed standing so how do you give him a count there ? :S

I think the fight defienently could have gone on.
