Wow. six pages in half a day, does anyone here actually do manual work away from a keyboard
.
Omg that stuff fenster is talking about scared the shit out of me. @Fenster I really hope you don't suffer from that, you probably specified but it sounds so bad I can't read it. @miles what is mg not familiar with that one other than the abbreviation for milligram
So you have potential mg not definite? Is it diagnosed only by symptoms or can they tell by blood test etc. sounds slightly in the realm of ms. Kind of scary. I just had a physical and the doctor checked my prostate. It was traumatizing, he had hands the size of a professional football player. I have a stack of papers for blood work, just standard check up stuff but every morning I forget and have a glass of orange juice then can't get the test cause it needs to be fasting
Yeah, I'm not at the age where you r supposed to get regular prostate checks yet but I told the doc I have trouble making pee pee on occasion. He said he'd check my psa via blood but he said I would do a digital exam since I never had one. I was mentally unprepared for such an intrusion. I really felt violated. I couldn't look the doctor in the eye afterwards and if I see him in public I will need to hide. All that and he said it was normal anyway. This may sound weird but I think he enjoyed it and spent longer in there than need be
smoked or cured meats like Slim Jims are a no-no. Its what I've always read since the 90's, Miles is right about the nutrients
Fenster has explained to you in very candid terms the reality of living with a chronic long term health condition. Did it not cross your mind for one minute that he and others like myself suffering from such a debilitating condition might have explored countless options in an effort to better live with the disease? It is very misunderstood and you are only adding to that misunderstanding with your insistence that it somehow down to bad choices by those suffering.
AS (ankylosing spondylitis) is often thought to only affect young males and be simply a case of back pain. That is clearly not true 2 of my 3 half sisters and both my half brothers have it, as does my 70 year old father. We all have it in differing degrees. My youngest half brother is not yet out if his 20's and is already bent over like a question mark, it is horrendous and heart breaking to see a young man with a third of his spine fused. the majority of people with AS have the HLA-B27 antigen. The genetic element is clearly beyond dispute. My half siblings mother is a medicinal herbalist and nutritionist and so they have never eaten wheat or gluten since being born in the 1980's and your naive idea that it is simply down to a body being out of balance and can be alleviated with supplements and minerals is just you wanting to the expert on everything as usual. It is nonsense. AS is a auto immune disorder like most arthritic conditions and there is no cure. Anti inflammatory drugs can help alleviate some of the symptoms yet despite the fact that I don't even take them you are suggesting that I harmed myself by taking them in the first place? Do you think they give you morphine because you are bored or something? and you are calling me rude? your lack of empathy borders on the psychopathic Miles.
Slinging around expressions like
"I know your condition" and "you are ignorant about how your body is obviously out of balance and defunctioning" does nothing to help and just betrays your own chronic lack of respect for other posters.
You did not even eat vegetables until very recently and now you are lecturing us on nutrition? You are boasting about sending off to America for organic supplements and buying into the sick INFOWARS bullshit marketing thing when we have had holistic and herbal treatments, organic veg and alternative complimentary therapies here for decades. We grow stuff in our gardens and make tinctures and essential oils etc and they can help some arthritic conditions but they will not unfuse your spine, but no you have the inside track because you subscribe to some nutjob on the internet. What a foolish horrible little man you are.
I wont be suffering much longer now that miles has sorted it out.
Even though every day - morning, afternoon, night - I already have a prescription diet of strong vitamins, calcium, thiamine etc, I just need to buy the over counter supplement that "cured" miles mate who had an "identical" condition to mine. I can't wait to inform the rheumatologists that I no longer need yearly injections. No more daily morphine, codeine, naxproxen, celecoxib and plain old paracetamol to be able to comfortably function, sit and speak to you lot.
Hey, the good news is i'm deffo top three P4P cripple on Saddo's, anyone could duff me up, well, apart from miles.
@Beanz - thanks, i'll check that out.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Miles. Enough with the bullshit ill thought out propaganda. My half siblings grew up in India, Morocco and Northern Cypress so none of them are vitamin D3 deficient, none of them ate bread and neither did their mother. Being a well regarded and recognised medicinal herbalists and nutritionist she made sure their diet was exemplary. Fish Oils, long chain fatty acids, seedsetc were a prominent in their diet. She did this because she married my father who has AS and knew of the possibility of him passing it on. All this, daily meditation, yoga, tai chi and qigong and they still have AS. It is clearly not caused by mineral deficiency and is stupid to say so.
You are literally telling a guy crippled with pain that he just needs to eat better. It's incredibly insensitive and arrogant of you. You have even admitted that you don't even read the posts trying to explain to you the realities of living with the condition because you already think you know it all.
The crappy supplements you are trying to market for Wallach are potentially hazardous products water leached form shale in coal fields. The guy is a dangerous quack. He is the same guy who falsely promoted amygdalin as a cancer cure and hydrogen peroxide as a treatment for coronary heart disease. It's bullshit, American snake oil salesman and you are trying to encourage others to buy into your easy western fix for everything. Life does not work like that and you know this but you will never concede it because you do not want to be seen as gullible.
It's fucking horrible what people have to live with and you are on your soapbox belittling it and touting an easy mail order fix . You are a sheep. Easy pickings for them.
Actually the pharmaceutical industry pumps millions if not billions into anti supplement propoganda. Big pharma lobbies congress to make all supplements obtainable by a doctors perscription or ban them outright. I am not saying they can cure everything but certainly some are beneficial and less toxic than the meds we get at the pharmacy with 30 pages of side effects listed. Nothing wrong with adding some supplements. During a routine blood test my vitamin D level was so low the doctor initially thought it was a error. She told me to buy vitamin d and wrote down what I should take. @Fenster I'll trade u some fish oil for some morphine
For fucks sake. Yes he was likely born with it. The genetic factor is clearly there just because you refuse to accept that. Stop pedaling your bullshit. It's not slander it's a fact. Wallach is a dangerous quack and you have fallen for his bullshit. You have no idea what you are talking about and it's incredibly offensive to suggest that these things can be cured or relieved naturally by some magic PRODUCT. Your mineral deficiency campaign is just another form of evangelical nonsense like the crap that Shouty Alex Jones sells you fool.
